Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers holds Covid vaccination camp

Kolkata: Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers organised a special ‘Covid Vaccination Camp’ – in association with AMRI Hospitals at Southern Samity Football Club, Rabindra Sarovar Stadium, Kolkata on Friday, 4th June.

The vaccination campaign was specially organised for members of the greater Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers family of staff members, artisans and jewellery craftsmen.

Transport was organised for the members to come from different parts of the city including the three showroom locations at Gariahat, Behala and Barasat.

Aroop Biswas, Minister (Sports & Power) and Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State (Health & Family Welfare) inaugurated the camp and Debasis Kumar (MLA) presented Covid guard kits of sanitisers, masks and liquid handwashes to the camp attendees – Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers members, artisans and jewellery craftsmen of the jewellery industry – before the vaccination.

Aroop Biswas and Chandrima Bhattacharya both appreciated this initiative of Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers and called out for other corporate houses to come forward and show such responsibility.

“We have always celebrated life and, therefore, saw the vaccination camp as part of a responsibility to combat the life-threatening Covid pandemic”, said Rupak Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers.

“We are glad that the camp was successfully conducted and, having always adhered to Covid-19 safety protocol at our showrooms, derive satisfaction from the fact that the entire team is now also vaccinated”, said Arpita Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers.

The camp ended with a photo finish that was really a happy picture of all the vaccinated members posing – with the directors of Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers and the Guests-of-honour – for yet another joyous moment in the Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers ‘Celebration Of Life’ gallery.
