The brand’s aim is to forge a special bond with its big-ticket customers who make frequent purchases, and it has started the club with 75 members

Sri Ganganagar: New Light Jewellers recently launched an elite club meant for its loyal patrons who buy frequently from the brand. Television actor Alefiya was present for the launch, along with about 65 of the brand’s A-list customers.

Explaining the brand’s objective behind the launch of New Light Elite, Mohinder Pal Singh, Founder and Managing Director, New Light Jewellers, said the brand wanted to do something special for its loyal customers. “Selling products is common for every brand. We wanted to do something different, and make our customers feel valued and special. This was our motivation for creating the New Light Elite club. The purpose is to forge a special bond with customers who purchase with us frequently, to make them feel valued so that they choose us time and again,” Singh said.

“We plan to send members of the club gift kits on their special occasions, festivals and sometimes even on regular days. The club members will also be taken out for joint movie sessions. All the brand’s new offers and discounts will made available to our elite club members at least one or two days in advance. They will get to preview our new collections and also book the jewellery in advance. They are our priority,” he added.

The brand hosted a ‘Style and Substance’ workshop at the launch event, aimed to increase awareness about diamonds and help customers style their jewellery. “We had a professional stylist to help our customers understand how to style their jewellery for different occasions and with different kinds of attire. A diamond expert was also there to provide knowledge about diamonds and certification on jewellery pieces. The expert elaborated on why natural diamonds are so expensive. We organized some fun games for customers too” said Singh, claiming that in the city of Sri Ganganagar, such a workshop had never been held earlier. “The purpose of this workshop was to educate customers and create awareness about diamond jewellery, so that our customers make informed decisions,” he explained.

Talking about the response to the New Light Elite Club, Singh said, “We have started with 75 customers in the club, and we already have queries from more than 100.”

Singh believes that word of mouth has great influence and power. “Some members of our elite club are famous and influential people from the city, so it will help us a lot. Their recommendations will surely bring us more customers,” the jeweller stated.

“Adding more members to the club will be our priority. We are going to develop a bigger team for this. We are also planning to create another elite club for the ‘medium ticket-sized’ customers soon,” Singh concluded.

Specializing in kundan, meena, gold and polki jewellery, New Light Jewellers has been in the line of business for 40 years now. The brand has two stores in Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan.
