Zaveri & Co. leverages power of influencer marketing at its first in-store bridal jewellery event
‘Jewels and Journeys – A Zaveri Bridal Edit’ resulted in powerful social media engagement with all the influencers uploading photos and reels on their respective handles, generating a lot of enquiries for the brand
Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad-based jewellery brand Zaveri & Co. recently hosted an in-store event called ‘Jewels and Journeys – A Zaveri Bridal Edit’, inviting popular social media influencers from across the city to join them at their store. The activity resulted in powerful social media engagement, with all the influencers uploading photos and reels on their respective handles, which in turn generated a lot of enquiries about the brand.
Zaveri & Co. curated the event to display the brand’s extensive range of royal, antique and bridal jewellery collections featuring polki diamonds. At the event, the influencers enjoyed a knowledge session about the brand, along with jewellery styling and a tea party.
Hosting the event enabled the jewellery brand to understand consumer preferences about heritage jewellery and how such an occasion would help in drawing them to making enquiries. The influencers were asked to give feedback on jewellery they wore before creating content for their social media handles. Customers present at the store also interacted with the influencers and shared their inputs about the brand and the products during the event.
With a majority of wedding ceremonies planned between November and February, an in-store event featuring bridal jewellery was the brand’s way of attracting a larger customer base for this segment. “This was the first time we hosted such an in-store event and I am glad it was a success. A lot of people have already reached out to us with enquiries, and they are not just followers of our brand’s social media handle. This has turned out to be a good opportunity for us to connect with new and potential customers who have come to know about us through the influencers and their social media reels,” said Chandresh Mandalia, Director, Zaveri & Co., Ahmedabad.
Given the positive response from customers to the event, Mandalia is upbeat about hosting more such activities in future.
