Bollywood actors shine in traditional splendour at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash

Celebrated designer Manish Malhotra hosted his annual Diwali gathering, a night of star-studded glamour where Bollywood’s elite embraced timeless tradition with opulent attire and intricate antique jewellery
Renowned designer Manish Malhotra brought Diwali elegance to life with his glittering annual party on October 22. Held at his Mumbai residence, the event saw many Bollywood celebrities in attendance, including Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, the Kapoor sisters, Orry, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari Wagh, among others. The celebration also coincided with Isha Ambani’s birthday.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt captivated in a pink and red lehenga set from the Manish Malhotra World collection, the same ensemble she wore for her mehendi ceremony. Intricate patchwork embroidery and statement earrings from Dedhia Jewellers elevated her ensemble, embodying festive elegance.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha brought understated sophistication with handcrafted bangles from Amrapali, showcasing exquisite Jadau and Minakari work. Featuring vibrant enamel detailing and Polkis, her jewellery paid homage to India’s rich craftsmanship.
Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor distinguished herself with an emerald necklace and statement rings from Amrapali Jewels, beautifully juxtaposed with a choker from her mother Sunita Kapoor’s vintage collection.
Gauri Khan
Draped in a classic black and gold sari by Manish Malhotra, Gauri Khan elevated her look with intricate jewellery pieces from Zoya – A TATA Product. The Acanthus Bloom Pendant from the brand’s Rouge Collection featured Baroque artistry, while the Wings of Fire cuff and Vines of Acanthus earrings added a modern flair. Her ring selection from the brand, including ‘Autumn Chinar’ and ‘Of Leaves and Scales’, featuring gold and diamond leaves embracing a cushion-cut citrine, perfectly balanced boldness and refinement.
Shanaya Kapoor
Shanaya Kapoor channelled Grecian-inspired elegance in a soft white georgette outfit reminiscent of a modern Aphrodite. She accessorised with diamond drop earrings from Manish Malhotra High Jewellery and carried a mini green Hermès Kelly bag, creating a quintessential statement look.
Rekha
The veteran actor shone in a brocade-embroidered sari, paired with a golden silk blouse. Her look was completed with an embroidered potli bag, gold chandbalis, and a coordinating maang tikka, all from Manish Malhotra World. Her marigold-adorned centre-parted hairstyle added a classic touch.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor sparkled in a signature silver tissue sari with intricate Zardosi Kotti detailing, paired with striking Russian emerald earrings from the Manish Malhotra High Jewellery collection. Her ensemble beautifully combined tradition with modern luxury.
