Bvlgari adds designs to its pathbreaking mangalsutra collection ahead of wedding season
The launch follows the success of Bvlgari’s first Mangalsutra introduced in 2021, which featured in a campaign led by global ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Mumbai: Luxury brand Bvlgari has unveiled its latest creation, the Bvlgari Mangalsutra sautoir necklace, marking its third India-exclusive design. This launch comes just in time for the upcoming wedding season, as global brands increasingly target India’s booming luxury market.
The new necklace continues Bvlgari’s tradition of blending Roman elegance with Indian cultural heritage. It features rose gold circular elements inspired by ancient Roman coins, complemented by black onyx beads and pavé diamonds. The black onyx pays homage to the sacred significance of the mangalsutra, while the necklace’s versatility allows it to be styled in multiple ways.
“The Bvlgari Mangalsutra sautoir necklace beautifully blends our Roman heritage with Indian traditions,” said Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. “This piece showcases our dedication to honoring diverse cultures while highlighting our commitment to modern elegance. We are excited to present this exclusive creation, celebrating both Bvlgari’s timeless charm and the dynamic spirit of contemporary Indian women.”
This launch follows the success of Bvlgari’s first Mangalsutra introduced in 2021, which featured in a campaign led by global ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas. With this new design, Bvlgari aims to resonate with the Indian audience, enhancing its global vision of luxury and sophistication.
