CaratLane stokes kids’ wonders with CaratLane x Doraemon collection
Ever brought jewellery and cartoons on the same page? It is a perfectly plausible pitch when you realise that cartoons are for kids’ entertainment, and kids are the stepping stones for acing fashion by themselves. Joining those dots is CaratLane with their remarkable kids’ jewellery campaign on the world-famous anime character for children, Doraemon!
Starting with a teaser of Doraemon on 9 July, the brand already received over 170 comments and more than 23K views on just an Instagram post. Indeed, that’s the hype of Doraemon with kids for generations, and CaratLane followed it up with a contest running till 20 July, which had followers spotting 4 differences in two closely familiar stills of Doraemon with Nobita. The brand then shared two videos of parents bringing their daughters to a CaratLane showroom and pampering them with the whole range of rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants featuring different characters of the popular anime.
The timing of the collection launch coincides with Raksha Bandhan, a season in which CaratLane has typically seen a considerable increase in the browsing and purchase of kids’ jewellery. Doraemon is designed to be a perfect fit for those looking for unique, quirky designs for their children around the occasion.
