‘We look forward to jewellery that can be worn at multiple occasions’

Shivek Gupta, managing partner, Tibarumal Jewellers, Hyderabad, talks to Samit Bhatta, publisher of The Retail Jeweller India magazine about his expectations at IIJS
What are your expectations in terms of products at the IIJS?
Congratulations to all the associates of the gem and jewellery industry. In today’s world, people aspire to buy jewellery, which is wearable instead of grand, more than dressing up and looking good. Minimal is the new way. Less is more.We look forward to jewellery that can be worn at multiple occasions. It can range from rings, necklaces, and earrings. I would want the bride to have maybe two pieces that can be worn independently elsewhere instead of one grand piece. We promote this sentiment among our customers too.
