‘We look forward to a multidisciplinary team to participate in IIJS, from product to merchandising’

Suraj Shantakumar, director of business strategy, Kirtilal Kalidas, Coimbatore talks to Samit Bhatta, publisher of The Retail Jeweller India magazine about his expectations at IIJS

What are your expectations in terms of products at the IIJS?

IIJS has been an occasion where we take stock and align with what is happening in the industry and get updated on trends. We look forward to a multidisciplinary team to participate in IIJS, from product to merchandising. Everyone looks at different facets as to how we, as an organisation, can improve ourselves with the changing times. We take the lessons back and implement them. In terms of products, we will look for new designs in the latest trends. We will look at the bridal segment as the customer mindset has changed a lot.
