Jammu: Talla Jewellers, a prominent name in the Jammu & Kashmir jewellery market, recently organized an art workshop for the students of Sunrise Public School in Channi Himmat, Jammu. The workshop was led by the brand’s CEO, Kashish Gupta, and the director of the ‘Live For Others Being Happy’ (LFO-BH) Foundation, Vivek Parihar. Such endeavours allow the brand to build a positive image, and connect it to schools, parents and the wider community, enhancing its reputation and visibility.
The workshop featured an array of activities, including an art and craft competition designed to foster creativity and provide a platform for children to embrace their artistic talents. A total of 129 students from Grades I to V participated in the event, giving the brand scope to discover fresh, innovative ideas that could even inspire future jewellery designs or marketing campaigns.
Engaging with students also offered the brand an opportunity to interact with the next generation, possibly inspiring potential future customers. Emphasizing the workshop’s objective, Kashish Gupta, CEO of Talla Jewellers, stated, “With this activity, we have unlocked a new domain to interact with and boost students in the area of art, craft and culture. We believe every child is unique and talented in his or her own way. Let’s share smiles and come together in this noble cause of encouraging them and giving back to society.”
The brand recently launched a campaign called Mission MAKE (Make All Kids Educated), aimed at supporting underprivileged children who lack access to proper education. In collaboration with the foundation, the campaign focuses on initiatives such as Sunday classes in villages, educational sponsorships, and seminars in government schools. All these activities reinforce the jeweller’s role as an active, responsible member of the local community, helping to promote education and creativity in the area of its operation.
Talla Jewellers plans to continue its efforts in social work, working alongside the NGO to create opportunities and uplift communities in the region.
Starting as a small business in 1986, Talla Jewellers has grown into a well-known chain of jewellery stores, operating four stores across Jammu & Kashmir.
