What are your expectations at the IIJS Signature Show 2022

This year, Diwali and post-Diwali were fantastic. The wedding season has also been great for us. As retailers, we are super excited to be at the IIJS Signature 2020 this year, happening in Mumbai. It will be a new place and new infrastructure, so we are excited to be looking at wedding jewellery, uncut diamond jewellery, couture jewellery and antique jewellery. We are looking at trendy and unique pieces.

Vaibhav Saraf, Aisshpra Gems & Jewels , Gorakhpur, talks to Samit Bhatta, publisher of The Retail Jeweller India about his expectations from IIJS Signature 2022.

What are your expectations at the IIJS Signature Show 2022?

The entire team at Aisshpra is excited about the IIJS Signature happening after two years in Mumbai. We have been going through great sales for the last three months and the trends suggest that that business will be booming  for the  exhibitors and merchandisers.

Which category of Jewellery are you specially interested in at the show and your message to the Manufacturers / Wholesalers who are exhibiting?

IIJS Signature and IIJS Premiere both have been trendsetters. It shows what will sell in the upcoming season. We are very positive and hope that manufacturers start experimenting again something that they had not been doing because of Covid. People are now open to buy. We want to make explosive purchases this time.
