Over the years, Valentine’s Day has become a big occasion for jewellers to drive up sales. Consumers are celebrating the occasion with not just any gift but precious jewels. The Valentine’s Day communication has also evolved accordingly, from being mainly offer-led to brands exploring various emotions that resonate with the common people. Retailers are leaving no stones unturned in their effort to launch innovative campaigns.

Over the last few years, jewellery brands like Kalyan Jewellers, Caratlane, Tanishq have taken a bold step to highlight that love can happen between anyone, be it the equation with your colleagues, your roommates or an in-law’s love for their daughter-in-law, the reason to gift your loved ones this Valentine’s Day is many.

It is a lovely ad by Caratlane which highlights the unique equation which colleagues have, from sharing gossips to lunch boxes. The everyday care makes this relationship special and our workplace bearable.

This is another interesting ad by Caratlane, which showed the lovely bond shared between roommates. From being in two separate professions, to hardly getting to meet each other during the week, but the mutual love and respect for each other, keeps the relationship going.

BlueStone

This ad by BlueStone highlighted the quirky relationship between a young couple.

Tanishq

This beautiful ad from Tanishq showed that love exist in all the relationships. Your dad also loves you right? Where is it written that opposite sex couples are only supposed to love each other? Love doesn’t understand any barriers,
