‘Touch and feel it is for some’

Sachin Kapoor, Owner, Satyam Jewellery House, Amritsar
In this age of e-commerce, it is a surprise to meet people who still believe in the old way of shopping. We had advertised our new line of jewellery on Facebook and got a query from a client regarding a particular piece. She loved the design so much that came all the way to Amritsar from Chandigarh to look at it. She told us that she wanted to touch and feel the jewellery and only then decide to buy it. She ended up liking the piece so much that she bought it. And not just that, she bought a lot of other pieces, particularly jadau which is our speciality. Since then, which was a year ago, she has become our regular client. Now, she orders through WhatsApp.
