Natural diamonds to witness demand boom ahead of festive season: Raj Diamonds
The growth trajectory of diamond jewellery since last year is slated to continue ahead of the upcoming wedding season
India’s diamond jewellery industry will see double-digit, year-on-year growth this festive season, according to fine jewellery brand Raj Diamonds. The business has witnessed a trend of more diverse consumer design preferences wherein craftsmanship remains a key priority.
“As we approach the festive season, the diamond jewellery industry is poised for a remarkable 20% increase compared to last year’s festivities,” said Raj Diamonds’ managing director Eshwar Surana. “This year has witnessed phenomenal growth. Consumer spending has seen a substantial uptick, aligning with the phenomenon of ‘revenge shopping’. Consequently, the consumer’s preference spectrum is diversifying.”
Although coloured gemstone jewellery will be a major trend this festive and wedding season, there is a clear surge in demand for bridal and wedding diamond jewellery, believes Surana. “Natural diamonds will continue to be the epitome of luxury and celebrations of personal milestones. It’s a season to shine, celebrate, and cherish life’s most beautiful moments with the timeless elegance of diamonds.”
