Kalyan Jewellers Hands Over 24 Apartments to Homeless in Trichur as Part of CSR Project Bhoomigitam

Trichur, March 11: Through the CSR project of Kalyan Jewellers-Bhoomigitam, the brand has been able to build and hand over apartments in many states in India over the last few years. The brand has recently handed over 24 apartments to the homeless in Trichur, thus spreading smiles on the faces of several needy people. This is not the first time, that Kalyan Jewellers has done something like this. The brand continues to engage and get involve in projects for the betterment of the society.

Kalyan Jeweller CSR project
In 2016, Kalyan Jewellers signed an agreement with Habitat for Humanity India to help build 2000 homes for low-income, marginalised families in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Kalyan had committed Rs 20 Crore towards this initiative as part of its endeavours to support the communities in which it operates its business. As part of the initiative, which is in alignment with alignment with Government of India’s ‘Housing for All’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ schemes, Kalyan and Habitat constructed 750 homes in the first phase and 1250 in the second.
