The company attributed this robust performance to surging wedding-related demand and healthy same-store sales growth across key markets
Thrissur: Kalyan Jewellers India Limited has reported a strong 37% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25), despite the backdrop of high volatility in gold prices. The company attributed this robust performance to surging wedding-related demand and healthy same-store sales growth (SSSG) across key markets.
India operations led the charge, registering a 39% revenue growth compared to the same period last year, with a notable SSSG of approximately 21%. During the quarter, Kalyan Jewellers launched 25 new showrooms across India, followed by an additional three in the first week of April 2025, signalling its continued focus on domestic expansion.
The Middle East operations also demonstrated solid momentum, reporting a 24% revenue growth year-on-year. This region contributed approximately 12% to the company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter, supported by strong same-store performance.
However, the company’s digital-first jewellery platform, Candere, faced some challenges, with revenue declining by 22% year-on-year. Despite this, Kalyan remained bullish on the segment, launching 14 new Candere showrooms in Q4 FY25.
Kalyan Jewellers closed FY25 with a total of 388 showrooms, comprising 278 Kalyan Jewellers showrooms in India, 36 in the Middle East, one in the United States, and 73 Candere showrooms in India.
As part of its expansion highlights, the company revealed that 75 Kalyan showrooms are now operational in non-South Indian markets, all under the FOCO (Franchisee-Owned, Company-Operated) model, including five flagship locations.
Additionally, 15 new Kalyan showrooms were launched across South India and international markets during the same period. The number of Candere showrooms in India has now reached 80.
Kalyan Jewellers also confirmed that Letters of Intent (LOIs) have already been signed for all FOCO-format showrooms planned for the current fiscal year.
Looking ahead, Kalyan Jewellers expressed optimism about Q1 FY26, citing strong advance collections ahead of Akshaya Tritiya and an encouraging outlook for the upcoming festive and wedding season.
The company has ambitious plans for the new fiscal year, targeting the launch of 170 new showrooms, underscoring its continued commitment to expanding its footprint and making quality jewellery accessible to a wider customer base.
