Ganesh Chaturthi holds immense significance for the Indian jewellery industry this year. Surviving the twin turmoils of mandatory hallmark registration and the obvious ongoing pandemic, the trade is getting their hopes up for the upcoming buying season. Praying for the Almighty to remove all obstacles, several retail brands paid their respects to Ganapati Bappa through baubles.
Jugal Kishore The Jeweller, Gomti Nagar, came up with beautiful gold earrings with engravings of Lord Ganesha, perfect to start the season of festivities. Shri Paramani Jewels gave a new shape to prosperity with their Ganesha set comprising a neckpiece with Gold Ganesha embellishment enhanced with Burmese rubies, and a Ganeshakadha with intricate detailing showing the Lord with his mushakvaahana. The welcoming mix of colours tones in totally traditional Indian occasions signify how the preferences of customers are changing, which in turn is impacting the domestic jewellery market.
Ghanasingh Fine Jewels too appealed its clientele with an exquisite pair of gold and diamond bracelets with Lord Ganesha’s motif. Kalasha Fine Jewels also brought out its gold bridal neckpiece that is dotted with Lord Ganesha motifs all across the neckline. JCS Jewel Creations experimented with gemstones and sterling silver for its Lord Ganesha idol. Neelkanth Jewellers also paid their respect to the Lord through their ensemble of Puja artefacts in silver.
The celebration didn’t limit to collection launches only. Observing the auspiciousness of the occasion, Kohar by Konika launched their e-com website on the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The entire industry wished their clientele a happy Ganesh Chaturthi. What stood out was Gandaram Jewelers’ minute-long clip about finding the Lord around us all the time. Discussing how sticking to kindness, wisdom and blessings from every beloved one, including our families, can help us feel Bappa forever, the brand blended festive fervor and hope for safer times through their subtle campaign.
