Khushboo Ranawat and Novil Ranawat from Swarnshilp talk about the virtual future that lies ahead for the sector, and how IIJS will contribute the most towards it
What is your opinion on the virtual format of IIJS ?
IIJS Virtual is here to stay. It will inspire and grow more every year. The most amazing part about the platform is that it connects mines, both international and national, virtually. It is already dissolving physical barriers, and will change the economy of the jewellery industry like never before.
What can retailers expect from you at the IIJS virtual?
Although we had the pandemic denting our creativity, Swarnshilp has come up with something new. We have been forced to focus on the 22K yellow gold category. During the pandemic, we noticed a growth in this category because customers looked to invest in gold, what with the price rise and market trends going haywire. We have five new machine designs in chains and lightweight Indo-Italic hollow chains that look big but are low on weight. Clients can order the pieces via video calls, emails, excel sheets or through our mobile application.
What would you advise retailers from India and overseas at the IIJS Virtual?
Everyone must support GJEPC’s virtual platform. Not only is it futuristic, but also economic for buyers and exhibitors. Virtual platforms are the best option to run business at low risk now. I would like to ask all retailers to visit our stall and take the advantage of our brilliant products for the upcoming festive season.
