The company aims to generate Rs.10 lakh in monthly recurring revenue by 2025 and plans to establish ten shop-in-shops and five exclusive outlets by December 2026

Mumbai: Trisu, a burgeoning sterling silver jewellery brand, has successfully closed its pre-seed funding round, with early-stage venture capital firm, All In Capital, spearheading the investment. The round also saw participation from JK Tyres, Amaanta Group, and angel investors Himanshu Aggarwal and Sumer Sethi.

Founded by Saloni Chopra in 2023, Trisu specialises in gold vermeil jewellery, featuring 18-karat gold plating that is five times thicker than standard plating, with silver as the base metal. The brand’s goal is to disrupt India’s Rs.6.64 billion jewellery market by offering elegant vermeil pieces that mimic the look of solid gold at a more affordable price.

“With this funding, we aim to revolutionise the jewellery industry by providing high-quality, affordable alternatives to solid gold,” said Chopra. “Our objective is to capture 10% of the everyday gold jewellery market by 2034.”

Trisu, headquartered in Gurgaon with a manufacturing site in Jaipur, has already experienced significant growth, achieving a 24-fold increase in just eight months. The company aims to generate Rs. 10 lakh in monthly recurring revenue by 2025 and plans to establish ten shop-in-shops and five exclusive outlets by December 2026.

Saloni Chopra, who brings over a decade of experience from her family’s jewellery business and her role in scaling Blissclub from Rs. 3 crore to Rs. 100 crore in annual recurring revenue, is well-positioned to lead Trisu. “Saloni’s background and customer-centric approach make her an ideal fit for this market,” said Aditya Singh, Co-Founder of All in Capital.

The Trisu team also includes Shrey Bansiwal, with experience at Oyo, Urban Company, and Blissclub, and Mahak Chopra, who has over ten years of brand-building expertise from Singapore.

By the end of the year, Trisu plans to broaden its presence across various marketplaces and quick commerce platforms, aiming to establish a strong foothold in the competitive jewellery sector.
