Prakshi Fine Jewellery shares festive styling tips from stylist Sanjana Batra on Insta Live
The festive season is already in and putting the most stylish appearance forward is the need of the hour. One might be spoilt for choice by the countless jewellery collection releases happening now. In order to decide better, one needs the opinion of a professional stylist, and Prakshi Fine Jewellery addressed that need with an Instagram live chat with celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra on October 18.
In a candid chat with Batra, Prakshi Fine Jewellery founder Prakshi Sharma talked about the fondness for colourstone jewellery among the youth, be it for any occasion or pampering oneself with a vibrant look. Displaying the latest Bloom collection by the brand, she sought Batra’s opinion on how one should dress oneself up for the festive look.
“It is layering all the way for me,” said Batra. “Colour stone jewellery has been confined to big, chunky pieces that women in India used to wear for specific occasions such as weddings, but the love for the colours have broadened today,” she added. Minimal pieces such as the emerald necklace from the bloom collection suit the demands of millennials today, she opined, as she layered two necklaces by the brand to demonstrate the spread it gives to the neckline.
“Such looks are appreciated in fashion circles as they go with the personality of the individual. Multi-usability is preferred by people nowadays. People want to wear their favouritejewellery at workplace and small get-togethers all the same. For that to happen, dainty colour stone jewellery is what I would go for,” said Batra. The stylist will engage her followers and that of Prakshi Fine Jewellery by posing for the camera with the minimal Bloom collection soon.
Sapphires, emeralds and rubies designed in floral, leafy and vine-like motifs are making this festive collection all the more attractive for the youth, said Sharma, adding a few styling tips with multi-purpose fine jewellery. “Chokers are multipurpose and can be used as tennis bracelets too. Being minimal, they can be layered up or down as well. One can also pair that look with anti-gravity, lightweight ear sliders or climbers. Another offering would be two/three finger rings and palm cuffs to jazz up the festive times,” Sharma maintained.
