Orra Fine Jewellery captivates followers with ORRA x Mukti Mohan dance contest
The contest’s vibrant energy and social media buzz have translated into increased footfall across ORRA’s stores, contributing to a positive sales boost
MUMBAI: ORRA Fine Jewellery has sparked a wave of enthusiasm through its recent collaboration with celebrity dancer Mukti Mohan. The ORRA x Mukti Mohan Dance Contest has garnered widespread attention, offering participants the chance to win enticing gift hampers by showcasing their dance moves to the beats of ORRA’s audio.
The contest invites participants to re-create a hook step using ORRA’s audio and post it on Instagram while following specific rules. Contestants are encouraged to tag @orrajewellery and @muktimohan, as well as invite three friends to join, adding an element of camaraderie to the competition.
“We launched a new wedding collection, Aekta, towards the end of last year, accompanied by a digital film featuring a vibrant wedding song. Capitalizing on International Dance Day, we decided to leverage the popularity of our wedding song and collaborate with Mukti Mohan to create a hook step,” explains Dipu Mehta, Managing Director, ORRA Fine Jewellery.
Mukti Mohan’s involvement has played a pivotal role in amplifying the contest’s reach, thanks to her status as a celebrity dancer and industry expert. Her collaboration with ORRA has not only added star power to the contest but has also contributed to its widespread visibility and participation.
With a simple set of participation rules – re-create the hook step using ORRA’s audio and tag @orrajewellery and @muktimohan – the contest has seen an impressive response. Currently, there are already 10 entries vying for the coveted prizes.
“We plan to conclude the contest by the end of June, giving everyone ample time to showcase their dance prowess. The winners will have the opportunity to take home exciting gift hampers and ORRA jewellery vouchers,” he adds.
Beyond the thrill of competition, the activity has also proven to be a boon for ORRA in terms of brand awareness and engagement. The contest’s vibrant energy and social media buzz have translated into increased footfall across ORRA’s stores, contributing to a positive sales boost.
