Karan Johar’s Tyaani enters Pune with its first showroom in Kalyan Nagar 

Pune: Famed film director Karan Johar has launched his first luxury jewellery brand store ‘Tyaani’ in Pune, after successful operation of seven other outlets, according to a report. The store launch was marked by fashion and jewellery connoisseurs, and other famous celebrities from the film industry. Maheep Kapoor was one of the few jewellery designers to attend the event.

She had also helped create Tyaani’s festive collection range called ‘Inaayt’, earlier. The Tyaani jewellery brand was also worn by actor Sonakshi Sinha at her wedding recently. Sinha had adorned a ‘Shaina Polki’ Bead choker valued at Rs 2,50,000 combined with ‘Tia Polki’ Chandbalis, priced at Rs 2,15,000. The bead choker was featured by red and white stones intricately embedded, flanked by green pearls on either side.

The jewellery brand also took to Instagram to promote Sonakshi Sinha’s attire and jewellery which was a feather in their cap.

The store launch event also included jewellery styling sessions which allowed guests to explore pieces that suited their own. Attendees also had a chance to meet Maheep Kapoor and learn about the inspiration behind Tyaani’s designs.

The jewellery brand, Tyaani, was launched in May 2022 with an exclusive brand outlet located in Borivali, Mumbai. This fine jewellery by Karan Johar especialises in contemporary polki jewellery – handcrafted in 22-carat gold with certified natural uncut diamonds. The jewellery collection includes polki sets, chandbalis, jhumkas, chokers and earrings, among other things.

The jewellery brand has seven stores spread across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chandigarh and Pune.

The latest store in Pune offers 2000 designs across categories namely necklaces, earrings, bangles, rings, maangtikas and other. It is located in Kalyan Nagar.
