Tyaani’s new store at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad offers preview of newly launched bridal line
The store launch celebration included a show of the festive and bridal collections. The outlet showcases jewellery featured in a new ad campaign featuring brand owner, Karan Johar
Hyderabad: Tyaani by Karan Johar celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills with a festive event attended by prominent personalities including Karan Johar, Maheep Kapoor, co-founder Shravan Satyani, and Hyderabad business head Rishabh Harjani. The celebration showcased the brand’s latest festive and bridal collections, offering guests an exclusive preview of the newly launched bridal line featured in a TV commercial starring Karan Johar.
Additionally, the collection showcases the rich heritage of the Tyaani art form, highlighting craftsmanship and designs that resonate with cultural significance. For those who appreciate vintage charm, the collection includes Victorian-inspired pieces, as well as exclusive diamond designs.
In quite an interesting jewellery campaign rolled out recently, brand owner Karan Johar delivers an authentic, unscripted appeal to his audience, playing himself in the advertising campaign for Tyaani.
In the ad, Johar admires the jewellery belonging to a bride and playfully tells her “What Jhumka!”, a reference to the song by the same name from the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’, from Johar’s own company, Dharma Productions.
He also refers to the bride’s bangles while singing a line from ‘Bole Chudiyaan’, a classic song in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, another film made by Dharma Productions.
Tyaani by Karan Johar is a luxury jewellery brand that has transformed perceptions of polki jewellery. Originally an online venture, it has rapidly expanded to multiple stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Bangalore, becoming a sought-after destination for unique jewellery designs.
Founded by Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar in May 2022, Tyaani’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) website and strategic use of celebrity endorsements has played a crucial role in its growth. The brand launched its first offline store in Borivali, Mumbai, and has since expanded across cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chandigarh and Pune.
