The collaboration saw the fusion of meticulously crafted heirloom jewellery with avant-garde couture, as the two creative forces came together for the Fashion Design Council of India’s‘ Ancestral Route to Innovation’ event in New Delhi

New Delhi: Isvari Jalandhar Jewellery House recently participated in a unique event called ‘Ancestral Route to Innovation’, hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) at Purana Qila, New Delhi, where it collaborated with fashion designer Amit Aggarwal to highlight how India’s deep-rooted heritage can be combined with cutting-edge modern design to create a fabulous effect. On the event’s grand stage, Isvari’s meticulously crafted heirloom jewellery and Aggarwal’s avant-garde couture came together to create a fresh narrative, uniting both tradition and innovation.

Isvari’s jewellery, handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, was redolent with craftsmanship that has defined the brand for generations. Each piece showcased the elegance of traditional designs while embracing modern sensibilities, reflecting the synergy between the past and the future. The jewellery added a whole new dimension to Aggarwal’s collection, when paired with his contemporary and bold designs.

Speaking on the collaboration, Manik Jain, Partner, Isvari Jalandhar Jewellery House, said, “Our collaboration with Amit Aggarwal is the result of a shared vision. We’ve been working together for some time, complementing each other’s designs. Amit’s garments and our jewellery have always been in perfect sync, making this partnership a natural fit.”

The collaboration was not a one-time endeavour but the culmination of a shared vision that had been taking shape over time. “When we create a piece of jewellery, we keep in mind what Amit designs, and vice versa. We know how his garments will pair with our jewellery, and that’s the foundation of this collaboration,” Jain explained.

The event also provided a platform for Isvari to present Indian heritage jewellery to a global audience. With the presence of European Union Commission representatives and delegates from around the world, it was an opportunity for the jeweller to showcase India’s artistic legacy in a modern context. “We are honoured to present our work at such a prestigious event. It was not just about the jewellery but about promoting India’s culture and legacy to the global stage,” added Jain.

Looking ahead, Isvari Jalandhar Jewellery House continues to build on its legacy of fine craftsmanship, now with a renewed focus on gemstone jewellery. The brand aims for further growth in both sales and customer engagement, with its flagship store in Defence Colony, New Delhi. The latest collaboration with Aggarwal is expected to enhance the brand’s appeal, creating more opportunities for both creative and commercial growth.

Notably, Isvari has been collaborating with various designers to widen the audience for its jewellery collections. The brand recently collaborated with designer Sussanne Khan and is now preparing to unveil a new collection to complement Amit Aggarwal’s upcoming Banarasi Edit. This new line features gemstones and Polkis, and reflects the growing trend of combining traditional Indian aesthetics with modern jewellery design.

Isvari Jalandhar Jewellery House has a legacy that spans four generations. The brand operates a single flagship store at Defence Colony in New Delhi, with focus on large diamonds and gemstones.
