The brand is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the Deepavali campaign, and offering free silver on purchase of gold, diamond and platinum jewellery. The scheme is meant for customers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where GRT Jewellers seeks to strengthen its market presence

Hyderabad: GRT Jewellers has announced its Swarna Deepavali campaign, rolling out an enticing ‘Silver for Gold’ proposition for customers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This promotion allows shoppers to receive an equivalent weight of silver free with the purchase of gold, diamond, and platinum jewellery.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary, GRT Jewellers is combining this milestone with the festive spirit of Deepavali. As part of the campaign, customers will enjoy a range of special offers, including 25 grams of free silver per carat on diamond purchases, 2 grams of free silver per carat on uncut diamonds, and complimentary silver equivalent to the weight of any platinum jewellery bought.

The brand’s objective to focus on the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh markets is evident as it is a natural progression for them to move into these spaces. The brand operates a vast retail presence with over 39 stores, almost all of them being in South India with a lone store in Singapore catering to the large Tamil diaspora residing in the South-Asian country.

The brand has most of its stores (17) in Tamil Nadu. With 13 stores in both Telangana and Andra Pradesh, GRT Jewellers is pushing to consolidate its presence and compete with both local players like Kalasha Fine Jewels and chain stores like Malabar and Joyalukkas.
