Mother’s Day has become a prominent gifting opportunity and jewellers across the country have tapped into the emotions of motherhood to generate buying intent for all ages of customers. This year has been one of the most vibrant in terms of marketing specific to this occasion.
Kalyan Jewellers launched its #HerHeartOfGold campaign, giving a thorough virtual visit of some of the most prominent showrooms by the brand across the country through the lens of popular YouTube influencers. Its summer bonanza offer gave away discounts on making charges of gold, diamond, and precious stone jewellery. The brand also generated excitement around the shopping season by announcing that 300 lucky winners will get special edition gold coins.
P.C. Jeweller also floated its #MaaKeGahane campaign, in which it urged followers to get decked up in their mother’s jewellery and become a lucky winner to win diamond jewellery for their adorable mothers. GRT Jewellers also did its bit to create a Facebook campaign called #GRTMothers, in which followers were asked to share how they would like to celebrate this occasion either by commenting on this post or sharing a picture by tagging the brand on Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag and tagging friends who love to celebrate Mother’s Day as well. The contest ran from May 5-10 and five lucky winners received gift vouchers worth Rs 5000 each.
Vaibhav Jewellers honoured their CMD Mallika Grandhi as a pillar of strength for every achievement by the brand. This apart, they also launched an adorable 18K gold lightweight collection named on the occasion with designs inspired from every mother’s priceless love and gestures. Raj Jewellery added oodles of fun and youth with their latest Instagram reel featuring an aged woman decked up in jewellery, a stylish sunglass and coolness that can’t be replicated.
