AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers conducts gold coin campaign on Jan 1, gets 25% growth
The jewellery brand ran a contest only for January 1, 2024, during which contestants took part across 20 showrooms in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Karnataka
Salem: AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers generated excitement as always with their most popular annual campaign. The brand unveiled a slogan writing contest, winning which the participants will get 8-gram gold coins as their reward.
Submissions were open on January 1, 2024, across 20 stores of the brand In Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Karnataka. The showrooms were open from 9 AM to 9 PM when participants had to submit their slogans. The criteria for participation was that one had to make a purchase of Rs 6000 to get a coupon for submitting their entries. The winners got a chance to collect gold coins worth Rs 2024 only.
The brand has been doing this successful campaign for the past 10 years, in which the value of the gold coin as a reward becomes equal to the year in which the contest is being held. The brand has announced winners from their stores in Rasipuram, Tharamangalam, and Kallakurichi as of now.
Sharing more information about the contest, AVR Sree Smaran, Director, AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers, said, “Every year, this contest pulls in a lot of participants. This year has been the best so far for us in terms of performance. We have got approximately 25% of business growth for this campaign from 2023. People are always waiting for the gold coin campaign in the festive and wedding season because the purchase of gold coins is very auspicious for gifting. Also, it allows us to inform customers in new regions where we expand, quarter by quarter.”
