With the new store, the brand has positioned itself in the heart of London’s primarily South Asian neighbourhood, catering to a clientele that values traditional fine jewellery
London: Fine jewellery brand Joyalukkas has expanded its presence in London by inaugurating a new store in the suburban town of Southall. This marks the brand’s second outlet in the city, complementing its existing store at 1-2 Carlton Terrace, Green Street. The grand opening of the Southall store comes one year after the launch of the Green Street location and showcases Joyalukkas’ extensive range of traditional and contemporary fine jewellery.
Southall and Green Street are renowned retail hubs in London, celebrated for their vibrant multicultural communities and bustling shopping districts, which complements the brand’s retail strategy.
Southall is often colloquially referred to as ‘Little India,’ as it boasts a rich South Asian heritage, much like Green Street. The area is characterized by a plethora of Indian and Pakistani retail stores, restaurants and cultural centres.
By launching the new store, Joyalukkas has positioned itself at the heart of London’s South Asian retail hub, catering to a clientele that values traditional fine jewellery.
Joyalukkas has been actively expanding its footprint both within India and internationally. The company plans to invest approximately Rs 2,400 crore over the next two financial years (2024-25 and 2025-26) to open 30 new showrooms in India and 10 abroad. In the near future, the brand has slated the launch of showrooms in Jalandhar, Jodhpur and HSR Layout (Bangalore) on February 7, February 9 and February 14, 2025, respectively.
Currently, Joyalukkas operates close to 100 showrooms in India and nearly 60 outlets across 10 countries abroad.
