India Gem and Jewellery Show (GJS) curated by “All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC)” is fast approaching. The expo to be held from the 25th-29th of June 2020 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai has already created waves across the country as exhibitors across Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Silver Manufacturers and Wholesalers, as well as Loose diamonds, Colourstones and allied suppliers, have registered in huge numbers. The B2B expo promises to be one of the biggest in the history of the Indian gem and jewellery industry.
The show will comprise the top of the line jewellers from across the country and will set a new benchmark in the B2B segment.
“This show, celebrating the 5000-year rich legacy of the Indian Jewellery industry, has got a great response from the industry. On the 20th of December, Jaipur Jewellery Show signed an MOU with GJC to promote and support their respective shows. Both bodies plan to work in buildingeach other’s shows and complement each other in many ways for years to come.
Over 3 days, 5-7 February 2020, a record 1300+ booths got allocated with the support ofone and all; an overwhelming encouragement and confidence shown by the fraternity on their Apex Domestic Council. For the first time in history, the allocation happened over a transparent online system wherein every applicant could view the LIVE confirmation of booths. The application process for the remaining few booths is now open. Spot bookingshave started for the balance vacant booths.
GJS 2020 will provide a huge networking potential as over 20,000 visitors and 750+ exhibitors are expected to attend the event. Several Jewellers’ meets have been conducted to spread the message across the country. The visitor experience has been planned meticulously to ensure maximum interactions between exhibitors and visitors in a comfortable environment with a plan for over 100 roadshows in the months to come.

“GJC shall make every effort to ensure a world-class experience for every visitor. We are creating a platform where over 50,000 meetings would be facilitated over a 400,000 sq. ft. area. This expo is created to enable constructive relationships to capitalise on the growth potential.”
The Visitor Registration process has commenced, the first phase ending on February 29, 2020. GJC has created a very simple process to make it easy for retailers to register as visitors for the expo. Interested retailers have to simply click on https://www.gjsindia.org/ or scan the QR code on the various marketing collateral that has been created. This will direct them to a simple form where they need to fill in their details, attach relevant documents and make an online payment.
