By a woman, for women, Vasundhara Diamond Roof completes 25 glorious years
As a famous saying goes, “the interest in a brand is the success of the thought of the brand permeated through its offerings” the 25 glorious years of Vasundhara Diamond Roof, Hyderabad, have been similarly unique. Ayushi Kasaraneni, Director of Vasundhara Diamond Roof, said that the pro-women brand has always supported endeavours by the fairer sex to make their mark in society.
On 25th November, Vasundhara Diamond Roof celebrated its 25th anniversary with a unique 1-hour inspirational programme at its flagship store in Hyderabad. The brand had invited Padma Shri awardee, Arunima Sinha, the first amputee to climb Mt. Everest, as the guest motivational speaker on this occasion. “About a hundred ladies attended the event, which comprised a light music performance and a unique, 2-part Kathak dance. The first performance showcased Arunima Sinha’s rasa and struggles, while the second part narrated the vision of brand founder Vasundhara. We also had a projection mapping across the bridge from the showroom, where the façade of the building is very prominent. The entire journey of Vasundhara Diamond Roof was showcased in the form of an animation video therein,” she maintained.
This year, the brand is upscaling its CSR activities by distributing sweaters to slum children and the elderly. Gaining nationwide recognition, the brand also provided jewellery for a period film Shakuntalam starring Samantha Prabhu. Societal welfare has always gone hand in hand with the brand ethos, and that is precisely how Ayushi wishes her jewellery brand to stay etched in people’s hearts.
