The 2nd edition was a huge success with more than 25,000 visitors, visiting the expo in four days. Buyers from India & Globally brought lab grown diamonds & Jewelleries worth Rs 5,000 Crores from Indian LGDJs manufacturers exhibiting in this Expo. A confirmed order book sales of 700 Crores was finalised & signed at the expo itself with most of the buyers hailing from the entire South India and London & Thailand
Around 4300 Crores of purchases has also been orally confirmed & in process to be signed on paper within 3 -4 days. Most of the buyers for this were from Singapore, Hongkong, Middle East , Delhi & NCR. From the above total mentioned numbers, the biggest deal of it was bagged by Banderi Lab Grown Diamonds & the major orders were bagged by them from the buyers of Middle East.
Inaugurated with much fanfare on 5th August. The “Lab-Grown Diamond and Jewellery Promotion Council (LGDJPC) “LDJS 2022” is “India’s Biggest Lab Grown Diamonds & Jewellery exhibition for Indian & International Jewellers”.
Spread across 5000 Square Metres, LDJS 2022 had more than 100 exhibitors showcasing their varied range of diamonds & jewellery to the buyers & visitors. It had 9 countries participating in it & 12 Interactive Trade Sessions & Fashion Shows, with models walking the ramp showcasing an array of LGDJS from various manufacturers & exhibitors from India & across the globe
LDJS 2022 is supported by the Bharat Diamond Bourse, Surat Diamond Bourse, The Mumbai Diamond Merchant’s Association, The Lab-Grown Diamond Association – Surat; and by Heera Zhaveraat (HZ) International.
Speaking at the occasion Mr Shashikanth Dalichand Shah, Chairperson, Lab Grown Diamond & Jewellery Promotion Council said, “We are extremely delighted by this tremendous response for this edition. The buyers and visitors were delighted to have such a wide range of LGDs manufactured from India to chose from. Even the various interactive sessions organised by us gave a deep insights to the buyers”
Mr. Rajesh Bajaj, Convenor, Lab Grown Diamond & Jewellery Promotion Council added“ This is a dream come true moment not only for the Council but the entire LGDJs market in India. This response will boost the council to do much better in our forthcoming editions. In fact today on the closing day,we already had more than half of the exhibitors confirming their participation for the next edition & requesting us to organise it as soon as possible”
