Swarovski ventures into LGD in India with its created diamond collection  

Collections will be available at select stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Amritsar, Cochin, Hyderabad, Chennai, Surat, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Kolkata, with prices starting at Rs 26,000 

Mumbai: Swarovski, the renowned Austrian luxury brand, has announced the launch of its Swarovski Created Diamonds collection in India, following successful introductions in the USA, China, and Japan. This move marks a significant expansion into the fine jewellery market, leveraging Swarovski’s legacy of precision craftsmanship and innovation. 

The new collections feature laboratory-grown diamonds that are indistinguishable from mined diamonds in every aspect, except their origin. These diamonds are crafted using 100% renewable energy and recycled precious metals, ensuring sustainability. Each diamond is certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) based on the 4Cs of diamond quality: cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. 

A highlight of the launch is the Galaxy collection, designed by Swarovski’s Global Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert. Inspired by the birth of the cosmos, the 19-piece collection includes necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets, each meticulously designed to capture and transform light. Engelbert remarked, “The confluence of diamonds, Swarovski’s heritage, and my creative vision has culminated in a collection that embraces the birth of new dimensions for the universe of Swarovski. The endeavour of meticulously creating diamonds to reflect light in mesmerizing ways was remarkable, and what truly excites me is the accessibility to this beauty, thereby elevating the possibilities of customers’ creativity in their self-expression.”

Swarovski Created Diamonds are graded and certified, ensuring they meet the standards of quality. Each diamond of 0.18 carats or larger features a laser engraving that certifies its authenticity as a Swarovski jewel.
