Ahmedabad-based startup Plushvie launched PlushMeet 2.0, its Augmented Reality (AR)-powered Video Calling technology, allowing shoppers a never-seen-before immersive online shopping experience, revolutionising jewellery e-commerce stores. Emerging technologies like AR have heavily revolutionised the e-commerce business, with 61% of shoppers preferring brands that offer AR experience, according to an Interactions Consumer Experience Marketing survey.
“PlushMeet is a web-based video shopping platform that allows users to join the video call at a tap of the URL. Once on the call, the shopping experience is as comfortable as it is while shopping in-person from the store. Jewellery executives can show the products one by one and give the shoppers a “Guided Shopping Assistance” (GSA). GSA is in trend with many shoppers these days as that saves a lot of time as well as it helps them in choosing the best product from the entire inventory,” says Aagam Shah, Founder of Plushvie.
PlushMeet’s latest version also offers a Group AR Video-calling feature, allowing multiple users to try jewellery altogether. It also takes the traditional AR jewellery trying limited to earrings and necklaces, a step further, enabling ring & bracelet TryON.
Through its 3-Click Product Upload, it removes the background of any jewellery image in less than a minute and saves time by 90% for uploading a product online, easing the entire process for jewellers.
PlushMeet 2.0 also features a data-backed Interactive Dashboard, providing them insightful business analytics, thereby boosting growth
