Mia by Tanishq launches 1,000 sq. ft store in Jammu, its first retail outlet in the city 

The new store marks another step in the regional expansion agenda of parent brand Tanishq  

Jammu: Jewellery retailer Mia by Tanishq has launched its first store in Jammu, winter capital of Jammu & Kashmir and a popular tourist destination. The newly opened store, spanning 1,000 square feet, is located in Sector 3, Channi Himmat, a well-connected area in the city.  

The store’s inauguration was led by Sanjay Bhattacharjee, National Retail Head- Mia, along with franchise partners. “We are delighted to bring Mia to Jammu with the launch of our first-ever store in the State. Mia’s collections are designed to be effortlessly stylish and versatile, catering to the modern woman’s evolving preferences. We invite everyone in Jammu to visit our store and discover jewellery that is bold, minimal, and refreshingly unique,” Bhattacharjee was quoted as saying by the Kashmir Reader. 

With its entry into Jammu, Mia aims to bring stylish and versatile jewellery to a new audience, catering to modern preferences while maintaining a strong sense of individuality. Known for its affordability and versatility, the brand’s jewellery has switched from being workwear jewellery for corporate women to becoming a jewellery brand for every working woman.  

The new store’s offerings comprise the brand’s wide range of jewellery, including rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, neckwear and Mangalsutras, crafted in gold, diamonds, silverand vibrant gemstones. Starting from their Evil Eye collection and solitaires, the Cupid 3.0 collection of chic jewellery for engagements, weddings and gifting, the Mia Disco collection that revives the bold glamour of the 70s to the Lovestruck collection, showcasing elegant heart-shaped solitaires in 14kt gold, the store features variety for its clientele. 

Mia’s parent company Tanishq has been expanding steadily in the region. Tanishq had launched its first CaratLane store in Srinagar in 2022, after completing its acquisition of CaratLane. Later in 2024, the brand further strengthened its footprint in Jammu & Kashmir with the launch of a 3,000 sq. ft. Tanishq store in Anantnag. The Mia by Tanishq store in Jammu marks another step in the regional expansion agenda.
