Guwahati: As title sponsor, Guwahati-based Manik Chand Jewellers is gearing up to make a grand showcase of its creations and engage with discerning jewellery buyers at the upcoming Vintage Vogue Spring Summer Edit in Shillong. The third edition of the event – also the brand’s third time as title sponsor and a key organizer – will be held on March 24.

The event brings together a line-up of popular home-grown and small businesses from the region, such as art and craft brand EzJe Candles, loungewear brand Feridora and lifestyle brand Shopper Delight by Sanju Goenka, among others. It is expected to attract jewellery enthusiasts, fashion aficionados and luxury shoppers alike, giving Manik Chand Jewellers access to a diverse audience.

Commenting about the brand’s association with the event, Mahatwa Soni, Director of Manik Chand Jewellers, shared insights into the brand’s journey with Vintage Vogue, saying, “This will be our third time sponsoring the Vintage Vogue, and we are excited to be a part of this esteemed platform. Our showroom, located at the Marriott in Shillong, is also approaching its second anniversary, making this event even more special for us.”

With high demand for diamonds and fine jewellery in Shillong, the brand aims to showcase its bridal jewellery and daily wear pieces at the event. It will also launch its latest new Jadau collection and a fancy designer line of 18 carat jewellery. “We look forward to introducing our new designs to the Shillong audience,” said Soni.

In addition to its jewellery display, the brand has planned several engagement activities, including a lucky draw, where winning customers stand a chance to win silver coins. The brand is implementing a multi-channel marketing approach, leveraging social media, targeted digital ads, influencer collaborations and offline promotions for the event.

Beyond Vintage Vogue Spring Summer Edit, the brand is on an expansion spree. Currently operating six showrooms across Guwahati, Shillong and Silchar, it is preparing to open new outlets in Kolkata, Assam’s Jorhat and additional locations in Guwahati. Its e-commerce platform is in the development stage, as the brand aims to offer customers an omnichannel shopping experience.

“We aim to strengthen our brand presence and create a memorable experience for our customers at Vintage Vogue Spring Summer Edit,” summed up Soni. “The event has provided us with a fantastic opportunity to connect with jewellery lovers, and we are eager to continue building trust and expanding our reach.”
