DP Jewellers cater to festive season demand with back-to-back exhibitions
Exhibitions are the best modes of studying the pulse of the consumers. Every jeweller either participates in exhibitions to know what the market is offering to the B2B segment. They then launch their own exhibitions for consumers. In the last couple of months, DP Jewellers conducted two exhibitions in different states to know what the consumers are buying to celebrate the current festive season.
The first was the Parinay wedding exhibition, in which the brand ran a week-long extravaganza of bridal jewellery collections in three of its showrooms in Rajasthan from 1st to 7th December 2022. Then, was the World of Diamonds Exhibition at their stores in Ratlam, Ujjain, and Indore from 25 December 2022 to 8 January 2023.
A broad customer cohort from 18 to 55 years participated in each of the exhibitions. “That’s because both exhibitions were focused on bridal jewellery, and in India, we see the involvement of the entire family when it comes to jewellery shopping for the D-day. We focused on diamond and polki jewellery and introduced many new designs,” said Vikas Kataria, MD, DP Jewellers.
Both exhibitions were proved to be successful for the brand, as they were created to cater to the rising market demand of diamond and diamond-polki jewellery for the wedding season. “The exhibition in MP fared better. These are part of our regular activities and we look forward to creating more such exhibitions in future,” said Kataria.
