Akshaya Tritya Collection “THANJAVUR” by Reliance Jewels showcased at Lakmé Fashion Week with renowned designer Monisha Jaising

Mumbai, 11 March, 2023: Reliance Jewels brought Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur region’s rich heritage to life with the preview of their Akshaya Tritya Collection “THANJAVUR,” exclusively at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI and in collaboration with renowned designer Monisha Jaising.

The newest design by Reliance Jewels, “THANJAVUR,” was unveiled on the runway by Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu. Taapsee’s heritage neckpiece from the Thanjavur collection, which was inspired by the Golden Period of the Chola Empire in Thanjavur, giving her the regal appearance of a queen.

Reliance Jewels’ THANJAVUR collection draws inspiration from the divine temples, the mesmerizing architecture, the magnificent Durbar hall, Poompuhar, and the exemplary art of Thanjavur, including woodwork, paintings, metal and brass artefacts, and much more. Every inspiration has been thoughtfully incorporated into an exquisite range of gold and diamond collections, where each jewellery piece is crafted to perfection with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship to bring alive the stories, heritage, and history of the region.
