As a regional and traditional jewellery house, the brand’s collaboration with Super 30+ Awards felicitated 53 women from Gwalior across 10 categories

Gwalior: Inclusive brands never fall shy of appreciating achievements of strong, independent women. In a similar move to honour women’s contributions across walks of life, Gwalior-based Gahana Gems & Jewels Pvt Ltd collaborated with the Super 30+ Awards, a property developed by fashion and lifestyle personality Richa Shivhare.

During this event, a total of 53 outstanding women were honoured across 10 distinct categories, spanning the field of education, sports, arts and entertainment, and social work, among others in the city of Gwalior. As a regional and traditional jewellery house, Gahana Jewellers’ collaboration with this event is a step that puts the brand at par with businesses that are better known to associate themselves with such awards on a grander scale.

“In 2023, we started this partnership in the second season of the awards. This is our second consecutive year of association with the property and shows our support for recognising the contribution of women to the society,” said Mohit Soni, Business Head, Gahana Gems & Jewels Pvt Ltd.

The promotion of the event took a more subtle approach through the brand’s social media channels, primarily featuring appreciation posts shared by the awardees themselves. Given that the focus of the awards was confined to Gwalior, the subsequent coverage of the event naturally remained localised to the city and its immediate environs.

However, despite the event’s localised scope, its impact resonated strongly within the community it served. While the brand mentioned that there were no awardees from the jewellery industry, this observation may create a potential space for future editions of the event to further diversify and recognize accomplishments across a broader spectrum of fields, including the jewellery sector.

By centering on celebrating the accomplishments of Indian women, especially those originating from Gwalior, these events play a crucial role in shining a light on their achievements and providing them with the recognition they deserve. “The purpose of the association was to acknowledge and recognize the brilliant work women have been doing in their respective fields. When we chose to get involved in this initiative, we were aware that it would attract the right attention from the community and our customers. Such activities also help us engage better with our clients since this is beyond the jewellery business,” he added.
