The sparkling rise of a Zaveri Bazaar based jeweller- Bhavik Sakaria, Eliza Diamonds (India)
The gems and jewellery industry in India are one of the largest in the world, contributing 20 percent to global jewellery consumption. The jewellery industry has never lacked lustre in the country with it being an inherent part of the tradition. Women not only buy gold but also invest heavily in fashion jewellery that is soon becoming the most preferred choice for daily wear.
What started off as a fascination of looking at scattered diamonds at a very young age to being one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the jewellery industry, Bhavik Sakaria (29) Founder, Eliza Diamonds established his diamond jewellery company in 2016. Launching the brand at an early age, Mr. Sakaria, had an overwhelming experience but he continues to enjoy this roller-coaster ride with a shining smile.
Mr.Sakaria had the privilege of getting years of experience in the industry as before establishing his brand he worked for a decade with renowned jewellery firms. This experience has fuelled his passion for jewellery and appreciation for great craftsmanship. Making him create, build, and share his vision through his collections. Known for his light weight and more affordable jewellery collection, Bhavik pays utmost attention to the detailing of each masterpiece.
What makes Eliza Diamonds stand out in the clutter is the brand’s design and ethos. Their aim to empower the wearer with its aesthetics, uniqueness, and style, has made Eliza a popular brand in a short span. The brand’s designs are for everyone. We had a word with the maestro himself and asked him on the current scenario ‘I like to have a positive and optimistic approach to all my goals, and I only envision making my brand a massive success. 2020 has been a tough year for everyone in numerous ways, Jewellers usually consider the wedding season to be huge and highly occupied since demand for jewellery is high around this time.
Due to the pandemic, several events got cancelled or postponed till Diwali, and during this period of time, the demand was more than the supply as most of the craftsmen and artisans went back to their hometowns. However since we are back and prepared with the new normal, while markets are recovering too, we are soon launching an exclusive Bhavik Sakaria’s signature collection in 2021.’ The ones looking out for the timelessness of diamonds with refined modernity, must check out the new signature collection.
