JMAIIE – India’s first and Asia’s biggest expo on jewellery machinery commences from 5-8 April at BEC, Mumbai
Mumbai: KNC Services proudly organizes Asia’s biggest and first-ever exclusive show for jewellery machinery and allied products /services in India – ‘JMAIIE 2022’. The show is powered by JMA Forum and will be the largest show with more than 500 companies exhibiting their latest technology. The event will also have leading companies participating from countries like Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand and Turkey who are the heavyweights of the industry. The show will be held at NESCO Exhibition Centre, Mumbai from 5th to 8th of April 2022.
JMAIIE was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister of Industries, Maharashtra State, Shri. Subhash Desai (Chief Guest) along with Shri. Shyam Jagannathan (IAS), Zonal Development Commissioner, SEZ (Guest of Honor). Key dignitaries present on the dais include Mr C.P. Chauhan, Joint Development Commissioner, SEZ, Mrs. Nishat S Haque, Deputy Director General (West) – BIS, Farhad Sethna, Chairman – JMA Forum, Kranti Nagvekar, Managing Director – KNC Services, Satpal Kapoor, Convenor – JMAIIE, Donald Michael, Secretary of JMA Forum.

Subhash Desai, Hon. Minister of Industries, Maharashtra said, “This event will change the game in the Jewellery manufacturing space. It will add tremendous value to the domain. Shyam Jagannathan, Zonal Development Commissioner, SEZ stated highlighted, “The significance of the Gems and Jewellery sector is evident in the direct employment to close to over 8 million people, contributing a high share of exports (more than textiles and apparels/ automotive etc.) and nearly totalling $40 billion of the total $400 billion mark in exports touched by the nation as a first-ever and a fitting tribute on the nation’s 75th anniversary of independence. India is a world leader with 14 out of 15 diamonds processed globally being done here, and immense growth potential exists for the Gems and Jewellery sector. The growth strategy encompasses better technology, smarter and competitive value addition, skill up gradation and standardisation in quality. For the country with the highest consumption of gold jewellery with tonnes in terms of production, there is no dedicated exposition to showcase Indian Jewelry Machinery Companies. JMAIIE will put Indian jewellery machinery companies on the world map and help them penetrate Indian and potential markets further. It will truly represent and position the ‘Make in India’ ideology worldwide and is indeed a welcome initiative.”
Kranti Nagvekar, Managing Director of KNC Services mentioned, “There wasn’t any exclusive, independent machinery show in India. This show will take care of the huge need gap and will benefit the entire Indian jewellery manufacturing industry plus the countries around us.
