Silver brand Vendi’s Green Monday sale achieves record business and rise in customer engagement

With the launch of the Green Monday sale, the brand aimed to achieve a 25% increase in sales compared to the same period last year and successfully met 80% of this target within the first two weeks

Chennai: Fine silver jewellery brand Vendi recently launched its ‘Green Monday’ sale, which ran from December 7 to 9. Conceptualized to capitalize on festive and year-end shopping trends, the campaign was designed to create urgency and attract a wide audience through value-driven discounts, according to founder of Vendi, Siddhant A.V.R.

Similar to Black Friday, Green Monday is a major online shopping event that occurs on the second Monday of December, typically two weeks before Christmas.

The primary goals were to boost sales, enhance customer loyalty, increase brand awareness, and position Vendi as a go-to brand for lifestyle silver jewellery.

The brand aimed to achieve a 25% increase in sales compared to the same period last year and successfully met 80% of this target within the first two weeks. Additionally, the brand set out to increase new customer acquisition by 15% but exceeded this target, achieving a 20% rise. These achievements underscore the effectiveness of the campaign’s strategic planning and its alignment with consumer behaviour.

“Targetting women aged 20-40, especially millennials and Gen Zs, the campaign resonated strongly with its intended audience,” stated Siddhant.

“The combination of compelling discounts and innovative marketing strategies not only drove significant footfalls at physical stores but also saw a substantial increase in online traffic, reflecting the brand’s ability to cater to diverse shopping preferences,” he added.

Known for its affordability, especially at the entry level, the brand offers silver jewellery starting at just Rs. 250 and going into lakhs. This diverse pricing structure caters to both casual shoppers looking for impulse buys and customers interested in making significant investments in jewellery. The extensive range ensures accessibility and provides a variety of options to suit different preferences and budgets.

Founded in 2021, Vendi has built a strong retail footprint in Bengaluru and Chennai, operating three stores in each city. The brand is now gearing up to open its seventh outlet in Bengaluru.
