Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers launches diamond brand Glitteria to meet demand for affordable jewellery

It was initially test-marketed as an annual exhibition, the success of which led to its launch as a standalone brand 

Kolkata: Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers launched its exclusive diamond jewellery brand, ‘Glitteria,’ with a fashion show at DKS Sports Complex in Kolkata on Saturday, February 1. The event featured a ramp walk by seven models showcasing the brand’s first collection, with each round highlighting jewellery for work, play and party occasions. The show concluded with the brand’s Directors Rupak Saha and Arpita Saha joining show-stopper Priyanka Sarkar on stage to formally unveil the collection. 

By launching Glitteria, the jeweller aims to target working women and offer them diamond jewellery that complements their daily lives. “The launch event was designed to engage our audience and spark interest,” said Arpita Saha. “We invite customers to explore the collection and take advantage of our special offers.” 

The jeweller, known for heritage handcrafted gold and diamond jewellery, initially test-marketed Glitteria as an annual exhibition. Its success led to Glitteria’s launch as a standalone brand. “The overwhelming response encouraged us to make Glitteria a permanent offering,” said Rupak Saha. “The objective was to fulfill the demand for affordable diamond jewellery while adding a touch of romance by making it a collection that reflects the glitter of everyday moments.”

Meanwhile, a dedicated ‘Glitteria’ brand zone was inaugurated at the jeweller’s flagship showroom in Agartala. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury attended as the chief guest and unveiled the new space. Actor Darshana Banik, adorned in ‘Glitteria’ jewellery, interacted with guests, while the brand’s youth ambassadors Mithun and Khumjar Debbarma, engaged with customers. 

At the event, Rupak Saha shared the vision behind the brand, which is “diamond jewellery that reflects all the glitter in everyday moments of women at work and play”. 

Arpita Saha commented that the ‘Glitteria’ brand zone was a showcase of all that the brand offers, and that the launch offers meant to attract customers to explore the collection. 

The special launch offers with several incentives run from February 4 to 15, and include an assured gift with every purchase, besides a mega lucky draw featuring one diamond necklace and three diamond neck chains.  

The offer is available at all the brand’s showrooms – Gariahat, Behala, and Barasat in Kolkata, and Agartala, Udaipur and Dharmanagar in Tripura.
