In 2023, The grand 10,000 sq. ft. store of Shree Ramkumar Jewellers, launched on the back of swelling demand and potential customer base from surrounding villages, promises a broader choice of categories and designs in an experiential retail environment
In the bustling city of Muzaffarnagar, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers has witnessed remarkable growth since its inception. From a modest 200 sq. ft. shop in 1950, followed by 1000 sq. ft. shop in 2005, the store has seen a growing base of customers.
In May this year, the jewellery brand expanded its presence and now operates from a grand store spanning 10,000 sq. ft. across three floors. The new store comes on the back of the rising demand from the vast catchment that the store caters to.
” Muzaffarnagar district has over 120 surrounding villages. These people do not have much choice. The new store aims to increase our reach within this catchment “
Parag Goel, Owner, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers
“Muzaffarnagar district has many surrounding villages. These people do not have much choice. The new store aims to increase our reach within this catchment,” says Parag Goel, Owner of Shree Ramkumar Jewellers. The town presents a huge opportunity to cater to a large audience that seeks authenticity and choice. Precisely the reason reputed brands like Tanishq and PC jewellers from Delhi have already set up shop in the town.
This expansion has allowed Shree Ramkumar Jewellers to cater to the city’s residents and elevate the experience for customers from 120 surrounding villages, solidifying their position as a trusted and preferred destination for jewellery.
“Our motto is to provide the best quality to the customers at an affordable price,” says Goel. The business has also been quick to adapt to industry advancements. When the Hallmark certification system was introduced, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers swiftly adopted it, assuring customers of the authenticity and purity of their products. Likewise, with the emergence of the HUID system, the company has fully embraced it, further enhancing transparency and customer confidence.
The new store has also solved some of the big issues regarding parking and retail space for display. The new store provides ample parking facilities, ensuring a hassle-free shopping experience. Additionally, the increased store size has allowed for a more organised and improved display of the extensive inventory, making it easier for customers to browse and choose their desired jewellery pieces.
By keeping a keen eye on the latest trends in the market, and excelling in their marketing efforts, employing strategies such as door-to-door campaigns, hoardings, and newspaper advertisements, the jeweller has been entrenching brand loyalty of customers since beginning.
” Our fulfilment of post–purchase commitments, including cash returns, further enhances customers’ trust and confidence in their purchases “
Shree Ramkumar Jewellers has continuously evolved in product offerings, catering to its customers’ changing preferences. “We previously focused only on light to medium-weight gold jewellery, but introducing polki, diamond, and platinum collections has expanded our range and appeal,” says Goel. The addition of heavy antique and gold jewellery has resonated well with their customer base. “Moreover, the exclusive bridal jewellery line in polki and antique styles has received a remarkable response, further solidifying our position as a trusted destination for wedding jewellery,” he adds. The meticulously curated inventory of over 6,000 articles showcases their attention to detail and ability to cater to a wide range of customer preferences.
In addition to excellent value for money, and a wide range, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers is taking utmost care to fulfil its post-sales commitments. The business has witnessed a growing customer base by delivering on its promises. “Our fulfilment of post–purchase commitments, including cash returns, further enhances customers’ trust and confidence,” says Goyal.
While the new store has undoubtedly garnered attention, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers understands the unique customer dynamics between the old and new locations. Our older store continues to serve customers from the outskirts, while the new store primarily attracts city residents,” says Goel. Recognising the distinct customer profiles and preferences, the company has no plans to close the old store, ensuring they continue catering to their loyal clients’ diverse needs.
As they enter 2023 with their magnificent new store, Shree Ramkumar Jewellers is all set to redefine the jewellery shopping experience in Muzaffarnagar.
