Rathod Jewellers looks to build new customer base by sponsoring Arijit Singh concert
Lots of the brand’s existing customers were very excited to visit them at the event and the brand team was also excited to meet new customers there
When Rathod Jewellers sponsored a live concert of ace singer Arijit Singh held recently at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Aurangabad, its objective was clear. The brand believes that the
event will help cement the name ‘Rathod Jewellers’ in a new crowd and increase its visibility.
“Arijit Singh is one of the most recognized singers of this decade and sponsoring this event has
helped us gain a new client base across generations. They announced our name on stage as
sponsors which gave us a lot of mileage from a publicity point of view,” said Naresh Rathod, Co-owner, Rathod Jewellers.
Rathod Jewellers marketed the event across their socials and to their personal database. Lots of their existing customers were very excited to visit them at the event and the brand team was
also excited to meet new customers there. Beyond the concert, the brand was not associated
with Arijit Singh, but hopes that going forward, it will be able to build a relationship that
benefits them both.
Rathod Jewellers has participated in many cultural events across Maharashtra, ranging from
fashion shows to lifestyle exhibitions. “We’re planning to do many more as we’ve received
positive feedback from all of our collaborations. Hopefully, we can continue to grow through
these and showcase our collections to everyone across the State,” says Manoj Rathod, Co-
owner, Rathod Jewellers.
Talking about their collections, Sanjay Rathod, Co-owner, Rathod Jewellers said, “We have a
varied collection ranging from small pieces to bridals sets. Instead of launching a new collection for the Arijit Singh event, we are promoting our existing collections which feature new pieces in diamond, polki, gold and more.”
Rathod Jewellers was established in 1972 and has recently opened its third store in Pune. The
new store with an area of 7,000 sq ft is spread across two floors, and showcases premium
designer collections by the brand.
