Prakshi Fine Jewellery aces gender fluidity, self-love with ‘I Love Me’ range
Looking up to global fashion, male celebrities are setting new trends for multiple earrings, charms and rings. Eventually, 2022 is paving way for gender-fluid fashion and keeping up with the glorious times of self-love, Prakshi Fine Jewellery has launched its gender-fluid collection called ‘I Love Me’.
The collection includes the most feminine, masculine and neuter nuances from every collection released by the brand till now. From the scattered Citylights spread into ear jackets and bracelets, wings of freedom from ‘Be Free’ in the form of sliders, dreamy cuts from Escape, spiral rings from Rise, beautifully broken pieces of Rewind collection inspired by architecture, enamel jewellery from Rewind in Colour, to the Flora,Vines and Dragonflies from Bloom, the ‘I Love Me’ collection encapsulates every emotion perfectly.
When asked the reason behind opting for gender-fluid ranges, Prakshi Sharma, Creative Head & Designer of Prakshi Fine Jewellery, said, “As soon as people realise that jewellery is inherently gender-fluid and one can wear what they like without conforming to certain norms, the jewellery space would become more inclusive.”
Indeed, that is how men’s jewellery is rising in the priority list of end-consumers and so, for jewellers in India. Gender fluidity is the new wave waiting to take over the jewellery space and progressive brands putting their best efforts in introducing global trends to India is a very good sign for how jewellery is being perceived and enjoyed in India.
