PC Chandra Jewellers aims to engage young women across eastern India with Season 7 of Goldlites Diva pageant
The contest, open to unmarried women aged 18-27, opened for registrations on November 4, with auditions taking place in major cities of East India
Kolkata: The stage is set for the highly anticipated Season 7 of PC Chandra Goldlites Diva, one of eastern India’s biggest beauty pageants, as it invites aspiring contestants to showcase their talent and beauty on a grand platform. The Goldlites Diva contest is organized by PC Chandra Jewellers in association with t2 of The Telegraph newspaper. The contest registrations opened on November 4, 2024 and auditions are taking place across West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. The Kolkata-based jewellery retailer has called upon unmarried women between the ages of 18-27 to participate in the event. The contestants do not require any kind of entry fee to participate in the pageant.
To register for the pageant, interested participants are required to send across two recent photos, along with their name, age, height, contact information, occupation and location. The brand has specified via the terms and conditions for the event that audition entries, i.e., photos and videos sent for the contest, are liable to be used as promotional content, indicating that the brand plans to roll out content through channels such as TV, Digital, Print and OOH, in collaboration with t2. The brand also added that participants are expected to agree to an irrevocable and unconditional permit which would entitle the brand to full-scale coverage of the event through any of the mentioned channels.
The pageant has been a majorly successful brand marketing activity for PC Chandra Jewellers through all its seasons so far. Last year, after rigorous auditions spanning months along with grooming and practice, the grand finale of PC Chandra Goldlites Diva in association with t2 was held in Kolkata in February, in the presence of celebrities and a discerning audience.
