Kolkata: PC Chandra Jewellers recently launched its Diamond Utsav, offering customers assured gifts on every purchase of diamond jewellery. The ongoing offer is from January 17 to February 4 across all outlets of the brand.
A few months earlier, PC Chandra Jewellers orchestrated a large-scale promotional initiative – Mega Gift Contest – during Dhanteras 2023. This event invited participation from the brand’s clientele, who were encouraged to submit answers to a series of questions for a chance to win enticing prizes. Actors Paoli Dam and Abir Chatterjee picked the winners of the contest through a lucky draw.
Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers, said, “Those who bought jewellery on Dhanteras 2023 were eligible to enter the P.C. Chandra Jewellers Mega Gift Contest.”
To participate, people had to answer a set of questions and submit their entries exclusively at the designated drop box. Once the winners were announced, the brand handed out a range of exciting rewards to the winners of the contest at the Dhanteras Prize Distribution Ceremony held later in December. The prizes included 25 TVS two-wheelers and 5 Tata Nexon cars.
By keeping the contest open to the general public, the brand reached out to a wider audience who could easily take part in it. In doing so, the jeweller ensured that it could enhance its customer engagement and brand awareness techniques.
The brand engaged in various forms of advertising such as press announcements, television commercials, digital advertising, and direct communication through its counter salespersons at its stores.
The multi-channel approach aimed to ensure broad awareness and stimulate enthusiastic participation in the Mega Gift Contest among the brand’s valued customer base.
Explaining what the brand wanted to achieve through this contest, Chandra said, “This is the brand’s way of appreciating the love and trust that our customers have bestowed on us over the last eight decades. The contest was meant to strengthen this bond and humbly acknowledge their support.”
