#MyGReaTResolution: GRT Jewellers unveils New Year contest; invites audience to share their 2024 resolutions

At the end of the contest, 10 winners will be awarded a gift voucher worth Rs 10000 each. To win, the individual should have garnered the maximum number of likes, comments, and shares on their post
Chennai: Starting the new year with a unique customer engagement activity, Chennai-based GRT Jewellers recently hosted a 10-day-long online contest. By keeping the contest open to the general social media audience as well as the brand’s customers, the jeweller ensured that a maximum number of people could take part. The contest encouraged them to create and share their resolutions for the year 2024 in the form of short stories or anecdotes and generated plenty of enthusiasm among the audience.
The audience took to sharing their singular or even multiple resolutions online. As per the brand’s Instagram page, 10 winners will be awarded a gift voucher worth Rs 10000 each at the end of the contest. To become a winner, the individual should have garnered the maximum number of likes, comments, and shares on their #MyGReaTResolution post. As a helping tip, the brand also mentioned that sharing the post on participants’ timelines increases the chances of winning.
The brand also suggested that those participating in the contest from their Instagram accounts were supposed to use different tags such as @grt.diamonds, @grt.silverjewellery, @grt.silverarticles, and @grtjewellers, a move that enabled the brand to softly promote their different product pages through the online contest.
The contest also had some specific guidelines, allowing all customers and followers a fair chance to participate while also streamlining entries. Some of the most important rules were that only one entry submission per person was allowed and that the participant would have to use their personal account. Furthermore, participants were also required to tag and follow all the pages of the brand on all the social media platforms.
A number of comments on the two #MyGReaTResolution Instagram posts revealed that even people outside the contest were eager to share their stories for the new year. Some of these reflected people’s will to practice more kindness and daily gratitude while others spoke of learning something new in the new year. The successful engagement activity also harped on the promotion of GRT Jewellers to new audiences.
