South jewellers come up with grand Onam-special campaigns

Onam preparations are in full swing for Keralites in and out of the state. The 10-day joyous occasion has various jewellery brands devising new collections and campaigns to grab eyeballs. Those that stand out are Kalyan Jewellers, Malabar Gold and Diamonds, and AVR Swarnmahal Jewellers.

Brand ambassadors Manju Warrier and Wamiqa Gabbi present a rare splash of elegance and beauty in the Kalyan Jewellers campaign. The campaign highlights how Onam is an occasion to celebrate the unbreakable bond between two sisters by way of gifting precious jewellery. It showcases the undying sibling love right from childhood, which has blossomed into a strong bond of maturity. Manju plays the elder sister, who gifts a regal neckpiece to Wamiqa, essaying the younger one.

Malabar Gold and Diamonds has come up with their Soonam jewellery range to celebrate brother-sister bonding. The commercial shows a young man filled with mischief, joking with his elder sister, who shows a similarly strong guardianship in her conversation. Paying a silent homage to that guidance, the man surprises his sister with a beautiful piece of jewellery.

Family jubilation is a common essence in all the media activities by brands for Onam. Talking about their Shubha Mangala collection launch for Onam, AVR Siddhanth, director, AVR Swarnamahal Jewellers, said, “We have launched exclusive gold bridal jewellery range starting from 24 grams in weight. The range looks bigger in spread but is light in weight. We are also exploring attractive discounts in diamond and gold jewellery this time.”

According to Siddhanth, the fear of pandemic has diluted considerably with increase in awareness and success in vaccination. “People are getting back to normal and starting with festivities afresh. Onam presents a grand opportunity for us this year around and we are confident of our campaign,” he added.
