Limelight Diamonds launches showroom at Anna Nagar, its first exclusive store in Chennai

The new store is the brand’s 23^rd exclusive retail outlet across India and solidifies its foothold in one of Chennai’s prime shopping districts

Chennai: Lab-grown diamond brand Limelight Diamonds has opened a new store at Anna Nagar in Chennai, the brand’s first exclusive retail outlet in the city and its 23^rdacross India. This launch represents the continued expansion of Limelight’s retail presence, solidifying its foothold in one of Chennai’s prime shopping districts. The store was inaugurated by actor Nikkii Galrani Pinisetty, along with the brand’s co-founder Nirav Bhatt and regional partners V Sreenivasan, K Krishnamurthy and V Udayakumar.

Spanning over 900 square feet, the store offers a wide range of lab-grown diamond jewellery, including solitaire necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings. Commenting on the new store, Pooja Sheth Madhavan, Founder & MD of Limelight Diamonds said, “Having received such fantastic customer response for our brand, it brings me great joy and pride to open up our latest store in Chennai. Speaking of growth in the LGD industry, she added, “The LGD industry in India is seeing a 15-20% year-on-year growth, owing to rising acceptance of the product amongst consumers. Awareness about LGDs has significantly increased and almost every customer walking into our stores is aware that lab-grown diamonds are absolutely real as they are also made of carbon and are identical to mined diamonds.”

Founded in 2018, Limelight Diamonds has rapidly expanded in recent years, with 23 exclusive stores and more than 45 shop-in-shop outlets across more than 35 cities in India, including Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Varanasi, Hyderabad, Rajkot, Bengaluru and Chennai.
