The brand’s Vice President Shreyansh Kapoor shared insights on industry trends and career opportunities at the educational conclave held in collaboration with Zee News

Kanpur: Kashi Jewellers recently participated in the Business Leadership Conclave organised by Jaipuria School, Kanpur, in association with Zee News. The event saw a gathering of thought leaders, industry experts, and aspiring students interested in exploring career prospects across various business sectors.

As an alumnus of Jaipuria School, Shreyansh Kapoor, Vice President of Kashi Jewellers, was invited as a guest speaker to represent the jewellery industry. Kapoor shared his expertise, discussing the evolution of the trade, emerging trends, and diverse career opportunities within the gem and jewellery sector.

“Kashi Jewellers represented the jewellery industry at the conclave, and our presence was crucial to convey the message that the gem and jewellery sector offers immense employment and growth opportunities, much like other industries,” said Kapoor. He added that the conclave was a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.

The event’s broadcast on Zee News provided organic visibility for Kashi Jewellers, while the brand further amplified its participation by sharing video snippets on its social media platforms. This enabled customers and followers to engage with the brand’s role in the conclave.

The conclave featured a dynamic audience, including enthusiastic students and parents, and provided a bridge between academia and industry. Kashi Jewellers’ presence underscored its commitment to fostering community development and promoting educational initiatives.

Kapoor emphasised the dual objectives of the brand’s participation: “We aimed to represent and promote the jewellery industry while showcasing Kanpur as a city where the jewellery trade is thriving. People often associate Jaipur or Kolkata as jewellery capitals, but Kanpur deserves recognition too.”

He also highlighted a significant gap in awareness about career opportunities in the jewellery sector, particularly for students entering the job market. Kapoor explained that the industry offers a variety of roles, specialisations, and experiences that often go unnoticed due to limited exposure.

“By participating, we wanted to show that in a state like Uttar Pradesh and a city like Kanpur, there is immense potential for growth. As a family jeweller, we have been able to give back to the city what it has given to us,” Kapoor remarked, adding that the event served as a platform to inspire the next generation.

The conclave’s panel discussions covered various industries, including finance, FMCG, and retail, offering a comprehensive look at professional landscapes. Kashi Jewellers’ participation enhanced its brand visibility and reinforced its role as a key player in Kanpur’s thriving jewellery ecosystem.
